Mission Statement: As The Worship Coalition our mission is to raise up an army of worshippers to shake nations and change governments through worship and songwriting. We accomplish this by providing hands-on practical training and support to worship leaders and songwriters around the world.
Our broader mission is to train up an army of bold, biblically grounded, spirit lead worship songwriters who will write and lead every tribe and nation in their native tongue by the end of our children’s lifetime. Currently it is projected that by the year 2038 every language known in the world will have a translation of the Bible. The next powerful step is to make worship songs available in every language as well. We are not just speaking of translating current worship songs INTO every language, but training up worship leaders and songwriters IN every nation to write FROM their own language.
Meet Stephen Duncan
Stephen Duncan is the Founder and President of The Worship Coalition. He was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA and moved to Nashville, TN in 2006 to attend Belmont University for a Songwriting and Music Business Major.
Stephen has spent over 20 years as a worship pastor, and 15 years in the Christian music industry where he has worked with hit songwriters, Seth Mosley (Grammy award winning and Billboard Christian’s #1 producer and writer of 2014), Jason Gray, Aaron Shust, and Unspoken. He has been responsible for getting more than 1,000 songs recorded and was a part of the Centricity Publishing team that was awarded publisher of the year honors from SESAC for 2014. He also toured with Christian singer/songwriters Matthew West and Jonny Diaz.
Stephen is best known for envisioning and launching Centricity Worship, and was a part of developing worship songwriters: Lauren Daigle and the songwriters of “I Speak Jesus”.. Since Centricity Worship, he has devoted all of his time to traveling the country speaking at worship conferences, training worship teams, coaching worship songwriters, and consulting with church leadership on discipling healthy and effective future leaders of ministry. He has also taught worship songwriting at Colorado Christian University, and ran the Gospel Music Association Immerse Conference Songwriting Track.
Stephen, with his wife Mary, daughter Charlie, and son Ryman currently reside in Columbia, TN.
Meet Ginger Tabot
Ginger Tabot is the Director for Songwriter Development at The Worship Coalition. Ginger grew up singing, playing the piano, and writing songs. By the time she graduated from college, she had sung on 9 albums, been in 20 musicals, toured and sang with a World Vision Youth Ambassador program in Taiwan and all over North America, and was writing and arranging songs that were getting heard in as many places. During college she began getting experience in leading worship and discovered just how powerful of a tool songs are to help people open their hearts to God and draw near to Him. Her love of leading others in worship has only grown over the years. Whether it’s 50 ladies at a local rehab center or 2,500 at her home church on a weekend, Ginger’s genuine love for Jesus encourages people to encounter God in spirit and truth.
Since 2011, Ginger, her husband, Scott, and their 3 kids have loved serving hurting women at the Phoenix Rescue Mission by providing worship services and Bible teaching. This led to Ginger and Scott co-authoring a music-filled foundational Bible study, called SoulFULL where each chapter has an original song that seamlessly connects the content to an enriching and refreshing song that seals the truth of God’s Word in the participant’s heart. In 2018, Scott and Ginger won a bronze medal from the Illumination Book Awards for their creation of this unique, music-filled Bible Study.
Since 2017, Ginger has been a part of The Worship Coalition. Ginger said, “From the moment I met Stephen, I knew that being coached by him would not only grow my songwriting, but most importantly my discipleship. Stephen is a true shepherd who has challenged me to seek first to meet with God and be changed in His presence, writing songs that rise from the ground of authentic testimony, trusting that God will use those songs to change others. This has done wonders for my soul and my songwriting.” Through two rounds of coaching and many songwriting intensives, Ginger has grown with The Worship Coalition, joining Stephen in co-authoring the devotional series A Living Hallelujah, and co-creating the Worship Songwriter Training Course.

The Worship Coalition Inc. is under the leadership of a board of directors comprised of Pastors, Business Leaders, and Music Industry Professionals. Our board of directors include: Stephen Duncan (President), Valerie Davis (Secretary), Nancy Duncan (Treasurer), and Steve Rice.
